SEASONAL NEEDS – SHELTER PROGRAM 
– Mittens, scarves, and hats for women and children (cold weather gear)

HOUSEHOLD NEEDS – SHELTER PROGRAM
– Bath towels – new or gently-used
– Single size fitted sheets and single size flat sheets
– Laundry pods, fabric softener sheets unscented if possible, please!
– Kleenex boxes, paper towels, single-ply toilet tissue
– Breakfast cereal, coffee, tea, jam and jelly, peanut butter
– Fruit cups, juice boxes and granola bars for children’s lunches and snacks
– Baking supplies and canned foods
– Gift cards for groceries, outings, general supplies (Walmart, Dollarama, Safeway-Sobeys, PC, Tim Horton’s, Giant Tiger, etc.)
– Night lights (plug in type, not battery-powered)

CLIENT PERSONAL NEEDS
– Shampoo, deodorant
– Body lotion, hand cream, lip balm
– Journals, sketchbooks, pens and markers, note pads
– Hair brushes and combs – must be NEW!
– Women’s one-size sleep shirts
– Infant wipes – diaper wipes
– New infant bottles, soothers and toddler sipper cups
– Sizes 5 and 6 diapers and pull-ups
– Women’s underwear, all sizes XS to size XXXL must be NEW!
– Children’s underwear (ages 2 to 12, boys and girls) must be NEW!
– Travel-size and full size toiletries (must be NEW – unopened)
– Cell phones (can be used, must be newer phones that are unlocked – no flip phones please)
– Women’s house slippers and flipflops

PROGRAM AND ACTIVITY NEEDS
– Craft kits and craft supplies (for women, teens, children)
– Beading supplies for jewelry and dream catcher activities
– Pre-school sensory and role play items: e.g., play food, play sets
– Children’s non-toxic washable paint and markers; small canvases for painting, paint brushes, acrylic craft paint (can be obtained at dollar stores)
– Adult’s and children’s colouring books, crayons, pencil crayons and sharpeners
– Winnipeg Transit tickets (adult, youth, children) ALWAYS NEEDED!

 

PLEASE NOTE: due to limited storage and staffing, Willow Place cannot accept all gently-used clothing.

We cannot accept gently-used  furniture, kitchenware, plush toys, magazines, or books.
