Shelter services - Women and Children
- Protective housing with private, confidential location
- Safe transportation to shelter may be provided
- 24-hour staff support; safety planning assistance
- Daily access to trauma-informed counselling services
- Shared accommodations – congregate living
- All meals, snacks provided
- Clean linens, towels; free hygiene supplies
- On-site laundry and shower facilities
- Family violence information and education
- Protection order preparation support
- Contact with community supports
- Support with Legal Aid, E.I.A., as required
- Housing support services on-site
- Individual and group counselling
- Children’s counselling services
- Activities and cultural supports
- On-site school (SunRise Tutoring) for grades K-8

Anyone with questions about services, or in need of support with family violence and abuse situations (women, men, youth) may contact support services 24-hours, every day of the year-no-cost and confidential. Individuals do not need to be seeking shelter to access the support line.
