Hockey Helps the Homeless 2023

Willow Place is grateful to be a beneficiary of the annual HOCKEY HELPS THE HOMELESS fundraising tournament in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Each year, teams compete to raise the most funds for homelessness-serving charities in Canada. In Winnipeg, our co-beneficiaries include Resource Assistance for Youth (RAY), and Red Road Lodge. Team pick a pro player captain on draft night, based on who raises the most funds – highest fundraising team picks first.  Players get to fulfill a dream of skating with the pros while raising much-needed funds for event beneficiaries. Teams are sold out for this year, including four women’s teams – heartfelt appreciation to HHTH headquarters and the Winnipeg organizing committee for their hard work and dedication.
